Meet the Ecliptic watchface for Pebble smartwatch

Hello everyone. Today I published the Ecliptic watchface for Pebble smartwatch. I see users cannot comment apps in the Pebble AppStore, so I created this blog to collect user feedback. Please, share your thoughts and ideas on how to improve this watchface. Subscribe to be notified of new updates, features and bugfixes.

The Ecliptic watchface is for amateur astronomers and stragazers. You can use it as your primary watchface, as it looks pretty cool (yes, I use it too). It displays the ecliptic circle with the Sun on top, shows positions of 5 brightest planets - Mercury (☿), Venus (♀), Mars (♂), Jupiter (♃) and Saturn (♄), as well as the Moon position, relative to the Sun. It correctly draws the current Moon phase.

The use is pretty simple. To the left of the Sun you see planets that are now visible in the evening. To the right there are planets you can see in the morning. In the bottom there are planets visible all night long.

Planetary data isn't loaded from the internet. Orbital elements of each displayed celesitial body are built-in, all calculations are performed by the Pebble processor.

GPS data isn't required because the app operates with ecliptic coordinates that do not depent on your current location (unless you are in space far away from Earth).

Ecliptic 2.1. My God, It's Full of Stars!

Background stars and zodiacal constellations lines are now displayed in Ecliptic v2.1.

This feature is for Pebble Time only, sorry.
Stars up to 4.5 magnitude are visible, with respect to their actual brightness and color:

There is an option for Southern hemisphere users to invert the stars projection.
